Be more careful with your textures they don't wrap around your forms like they should.
And some of them make no sense at all.

will do :) thanks :)
I love pokemon!
I love bewbs!
Very nice!
I noticed the last 4 works you posted are drawn with a much greater understanding
of art techniques. Say, have you been studying?
Thank you.
Well, yes. i do study Game Design. But I barely learned any techniques. Its mostly from observation and doing different things from time to time. I haven't painted properly since ~1 and a half years or so but I did 3D Modelling, Environments and Textures and it somehow shows in my latest. I also look at my art differently, I had the wrong focus and a narrow mind back then, that led to bad habits and lazyness. :)
I like your colors and painting technique, also that logo is pretty cool.
But your proportions, values and rendering have no consistency.
My advice is to use reference or learn to portray objects in 3d space.
I was worse, but taking figure drawing has improved my style overall. I'd love to get into 3D modeling, have you seen the guys at CGHUB? Some great rendering art there. I never bothered posting much on this site, so getting a frontpage is something amazing. Thanks for your constructive criticism!
This makes me want to scream; FUCK YEAH!
Ha, I had originally called this picture Fuck Yeah while I was drawing it.
Thanks!
I think this could be very nice if you used a fuller value range and a background.
But its a 1 hour painting so ill forgive you.
I use a pretty full value range though, near white to near black. do you mean more contrast?
I really like the mood in this, but i like the mood in most of your pieces.
And i also like how you can convey shapes with very limited strokes.
Other people complain about not being able to see whats going on this is probably because of all the atmospheric lights and smoke you added on top of your value's.
Its not an overkill, though it could be better used.
I'd also recommend you look up some anatomy books.
Her proportions are wrong like her arms are too long and her head to big.
There are many more things wrong with her body, but you probably know this already.
Also could you tell me whats in the capsule behind her? Is she pregnant?
I had to add the smoke and lights at one point to cover unfinished parts since I made it on rbotday and had to submit. Yea she and the twisted world are pregnant.
I know that my anatomy sucks, but I just have to add these ugly shaped human-like beings to my pics, because I don't practice anywhere else.
perspective!!!
dude i can axonometric a motherfucker ten times till monday. i just don't, see?
Detail is nice, but its just a addition to the object.
And objects are basically light and shadows, get these down perfectly first.
I think you should rather spend the time your spending detailing to get the values down better.
Anyway, nice detail!
Too true! I need more patience and practice to get those down a lot better. But I just love to play around when drawing textures manually. I should probably do more exercises and less doodling... and less procrastination.
Thanks for your advice.
eye think i said this already:
ILOVEIT!
Thank you so much! :D
